Researching the proximity to our environment, I focus on the latent narratives of our everyday lives. More precisely, the minuscule details of which significance directs the bigger scope in the manner by which we perceive our surroundings. That is how the space physically and intellectually conditions our experiences and the way in which we relate to things and people. Oscillating between the intimate relation with a space and the social significance of it, in my work, I am curious in discovering ways through which such conditions can be reconsidered. How potentially by immersing ourselves in our surroundings we could be reminded that perhaps we haven’t fully exhausted their meanings and use this relation as the base for a creation of new knowledge that arises from the experience.
